Although I didn’t realize it until the other day, my semester at university is just about to come to an end. Since the end of this semester will mark the end of my first year in university, I am actually quite excited about having the summer off so that I can recharge my batteries and be ready to kick off my second year in the fall. Once this semester does completely come to an end, I will be returning back to live with my parents in their home for the summer. A lot of people don’t like going back to live with their parents, but since I know this is just a temporary phase, I’m excited about getting to eat all of the great food my Mom loves to cook.

I may have given you the idea that my university semester is completely over, but as you may have guessed, I do have all of my final examinations to take. While I have plenty of friends who are absolutely dreading their final examinations, I have stayed on top of my studies this semester, so I am actually really confident about how I am going to do. Since I am so confident, I have already set up a summer reward for myself to celebrate my success this semester. Along with a mate from my home of London, I will have a Luton Airport car hire reserved for the beginning of summer. We are picking up the Luton Airport car hire, and then using it to take a week long road trip. Although it has been a year since we have seen each other, the two of us have been friends since we were little kids, so I know we are going to have a great road trip together.
