I had no idea before that Luton airport arrivals had so many car hire options. I am just booking a flight and need to hire a car as well and so am doing it at the same time. There are four car hire companies to choose from which means that I am sure I can get a really good deal. I will compare all of their prices and then decide which one to go for. I do not want a tiny car so I will not be likely to go for the cheapest but hopefully I will be able to find one which is good value for money and make a saving if I book online.
I always thought that Luton airport would not have that many facilities, so it just shows how wring you can be! I think I just thought it would be smaller than Gatwick and Heathrow and therefore be tiny, which of course it is not. I have been looking at the airport’s website and it has loads of good facilities and it makes me actually quite look forward to being there so that I can check them all out and find out what it is really like. Well it will give me something to do while I am hanging around for my flight home, which will probably be delayed as normal and when I am waiting to collect my luggage as mine always seems to be the very last one to appear on the carousel.

The British weather isn’t exactly reliable. You never know what’s going to hit you and the weather people never seem to be any help in making you sure about the future weather. This year alone, we’ve gone from one of the warmest summers on record to one of the coldest winters and the nation practically came to a standstill because of it. None more so than in London, where the weather this winter ensured that many people were detained at Luton Airport without anything to do but pray that the snow and ice will clear and let them finally jet off on their holidays. The planes were stopped for a good 3 days until the runways were able to be cleared; playing havoc with the poor people wanting to go on holiday
Yet, London isn’t used to having such freezing winters, and apart from the odd winter where the Thames froze over, the weather in the city of London is generally very similar year on year. The winters are generally quite mild; an unfortunate scenario that means that rain can become an all too regular occurrence because it is too warm to snow. Yet, as it can be frosty in the mornings you can often see some very picturesque scenes throughout the city. In the summer, it’s often shorts and tee-shirt weather – generally very comfortable, although occasionally the clouds can cross the sky and obscure the shining sun. This, however, is generally rare and London is a thoroughly enjoyable place to spend the summer months.
